Discover Mill House Quilt Retreat- Utica, Ohio

Built in 1856, the Mill House Quilt Retreat was once regarded as a grand mansion. It was originally home to the owner of one of Utica’s famous glass factories. Today, it still showcases 11-foot ceilings, inlaid hardwood floors, and a charming wrap-around porch. The house also holds a powerful history, having been part of the Underground Railroad and featuring an escape tunnel for people fleeing enslavement.

About Mill House Quilt Retreat

Our Story

Founded in 2024, Mill House Quilt Retreat Retreat Center is a peaceful oasis nestled in the heart of Utica, Ohio. We provide a space for individuals to relax, recharge, and be creative.

Our Facilities

This fully restored 1850’s house feels like home away from home. With large bedrooms, custom project tables, and a cozy separate living room, you will never want to leave! 

Our Programs

As well as overnight retreats, we now offer Weekday Open Sew for groups of 6-10. If you would like more information on this, fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page and we will be in touch!
